    A commercial griddle is specialized piece of restaurant equipment that has a flat cooking area that will be a non-stick surface or a carbonized surface. Griddles are ideal for cooking eggs, pancakes, hamburgers, sandwiches like grilled cheese, fried potatoes, even steaks. Griddles are very common in restaurant kitchens and are excellent for quickly cooking foods at high temperatures.

    Much of what you cook on a griddle can also be prepared in a fry pan, but if you find that you need more speed due to increased customer volume then a griddle may be your next purchase. It’s important to do some research before you start shopping so that you are sure to get what you need most from your griddle.
