With the addition of MyGo reusable to-go containers to your campus dining program, you can create a closed loop system that begins when students register for their meal plan. The closed loop is described in these five steps:

Step 1: When they select their meal plan, students receive or purchases a MyGo Containers™ that they use for the campus meals. At the beginning of school, they are provided with a token or key card that they exchange or swipe at participating foodservice outlets on campus to receive a MyGo Containers™.

Step 2: At meal time, students head to the foodservice outlet of their choice and present their token or swipe their keycard and receive a MyGo Container™.

Step 3: The select their meal, fill up their MyGo and take their meal wherever they want to eat. The MyGo Containers™ have a tight fitting seal and gasketed lid so that even if the container is sitting on it’s side in a backpack during transport, food won’t leak out from the container so you meal is intact and mess free upon arrival.

Step 4: Once students finish their meal, they deposit the used container in any of the MyGo Return Receptacles located on campus. These receptacles have bins inside for container collection. Depending on the size of your campus, containers may get collected once or more per day, by swapping out the filled receptacle liner with a fresh, empty liner.

Step 5: Once collected, the MyGo Containers™ are returned to dining services where they are cleaned, sanitized, dried and stored, ready for their next use. Another meal service starts, and the cycle begins again.

This is a relatively simple system with no technology to hang you up if it doesn’t work properly. We can also help you with multiple options in collection receptacles, MyGo Container drying racks, flatware & tumblers and more.

What will you get when you switch from single use to reusable MyGo Containers™:
    • Significant reduction in non-food waste :
    • Reduced waste removal expenses
    • Cuts down landfill waste and supports sustainability goals
    • Lower expenses in food packaging disposables
    • Estimated ROI is one month or less with MyGo
    • Sustainability without sacrifices.
