This week Cook’s participated in our first virtual conference and product expo. We’ve had opportunities to participate in virtual trade shows several times with the pandemic but we didn’t make the leap. But this week, we participated in the 2021 Virtual PA Procurement Expo – and it was a positive experience for us.

In fact, this show was actually a lot of firsts for Cook’s. It was our first show in Pennsylvania and our first show with state procurement contacts as the focus. We found this to be a great opportunity to introduce our products and services to state purchasing individuals. Being virtual was different. Definitely a less costly than participating in an actual trade show. The booth featured an introduction video about Cook’s and several product videos. These included a video introduction to the Cook’s Brand Vented Tray Drying Rack, our High Security Tool Locker and Flex Trays. Participants were also able to view our Cook’s Brand Buyers Guide and several specification sheets for products that we offer.

During the entire show, there is an opportunity for participants to reach out via live chat or they could view the videos and other materials. Our team was also able to reach out to different participants at the show to say hello and invite them to come ‘visit’ our booth. Finally, we were able to see who stopped by the Cook’s virtual booth so that we can reach out to them and thank them for visiting.

Overall, it was a new and positive experience for the Cook’s Team. Thank you to Pennsylvania for having us! We hope to participate in more virtual shows in the future.
