It’s the beginning of May, and for many of our correctional foodservice customers, a sense of urgency is starting to creep into their decision making. Nobody is getting ready for a Christmas in July Sale, but correctional professionals are starting to prepare for the end of the fiscal year. With many government organizations, the end of the fiscal year and the beginning of the next fiscal year is an important time for your budget especially in regard to spending. If you’re out of budget, you need to wait until the next year for purchases. If you have dollars remaining in your budget and you haven’t spent them yet you run the risk of loosing them.
With supply chain issues hitting nearly every product sector, the end of June 2022 may shape up to be a frantic time for people who haven’t completed all their planned purchases before the year is over.
