    What is a Meat Grinder?

Meat grinders, also referred to as "meat choppers," are kitchen appliances that make it very simple and require no additional accessories to grind meat. They are often used to manually ground whole pieces of meat, producing a homogeneous end product, that is free of tendons, cartilage, and other tough meat components. Using a meat grinder also eliminates the difficulty and potential dangers of grinding meat with sharp, hazardous knives or utensils. Which makes this a clean, safe, and efficient method of griding meats. Today we are going to take a look at tips to follow when using a Meat Grinder and which one we recommend using.

Tips to follow when using a Meat Grinder

    • To keep foods from going bad, store your meat in the refrigerator until you're ready to use it.

    • Never use frozen meat in a grinder as it will be difficult to grind and may even potentially damage the blade.

    • Avoid overloading your meat grinder as it may lead to jams and destroy the motor.

    • Submerge the metal components of your meat grinder in ice water or place them in the freezer before you begin. This helps keep your meat cold and also prevents the meat from getting stuck.

    • Change the grinder plates regularly

    • Properly clean your meat grinder after each use. You will want to make sure you fully disassemble the parts, submerge in hot and soapy water, and thoroughly dry them.

    • Keep your parts lubricated, you can do this by using a silicone spray or a sanitary lubricant. This helps keep all of the parts moving and functioning properly.
