Hoshizaki KMD-860MAJ Modular Ice Machine Head, Air-Cooled
The Hoshizaki KMD-860MAJ Crescent® Cuber Icemaker is an air-cooled, modular commercial ice machine designed for high-volume foodservice, hospitality, self-service, fast food, and employee break room applications. Producing up to 855 lbs. of crescent-shaped ice per 24 hours, this commercial ice maker provides a reliable supply of ice for busy operations. Its KM Edge™ design incorporates a dual-sided stainless steel evaporator, while the durable stainless steel exterior is suited for demanding commercial environments. Measuring 30" W x 24-5/8" D x 28" H, the KMD-860MAJ can be mounted side-by-side with another unit for increased ice production. Compatible bins and dispensers are sold separately.
Designed for efficient operation and simplified maintenance, the Hoshizaki KMD-860MAJ features CycleSaver™ design and an EverCheck™ alert system. This air-cooled modular ice maker operates with R-404A refrigerant and requires a single-phase 208-230V/60/1, 3-wire electrical connection including ground. The unit must be hardwired at the installation site, with no cord or plug included. It operates within an ambient temperature range of 45–100°F, water temperature range of 45–90°F, and water pressure range of 10–113 psig. The KMD-860MAJ is discontinued and replaced by the KM-830MAK2.
