The Hoshizaki KMD-505MWJ Crescent Cuber Icemaker is a water-cooled commercial ice machine designed for high-demand foodservice, hospitality, self-service, and beverage applications. Producing up to 592 lbs of crescent-shaped ice per 24 hours, this modular ice maker provides a dependable supply of ice for busy operations. Its durable stainless steel exterior is built for commercial environments, while Hoshizaki’s double-sided KM Edge stainless steel evaporator creates distinctive crescent-shaped ice. Measuring 30" W x 24" D x 22" H, the KMD-505MWJ can be mounted side-by-side with another unit for increased ice production. Compatible ice bins and dispensers are sold separately.
Designed for efficient operation and simplified maintenance, the Hoshizaki KMD-505MWJ features CycleSaver technology and the EverCheck alert system. This water-cooled ice machine uses R-404A refrigerant and operates on a single-phase 115V/60/1 electrical connection that must be hardwired at the installation site; no cord or plug is included. It operates within an ambient temperature range of 45–100°F, water temperature range of 45–90°F, and water pressure range of 10–113 psig. The unit consumes 5.7 kWh per 100 lbs at 90/70 and uses 26.1 gallons of potable water per 100 lbs at 90/70, making it a practical commercial ice-making solution with easy maintenance and a simple one-hour cleaning process.
