The Robot Coupe CL40 is a high-output vegetable preparation machine built to handle the full spectrum of prep work — slicing, grating, shredding, julienning, ripple cutting, dicing, french fry cutting, and cheese grating — all from a single, compact countertop unit. With a theoretical output of up to 440 lbs per hour, it's engineered for operations serving 20 to 80 meals per service and built to keep up when prep volume peaks.
At the heart of the CL40 is a 1 HP industrial induction motor mounted in a metal base with a stainless steel shaft, magnetic safety system, and motor brake — a combination designed for intensive daily use. Two dedicated hoppers handle the full range of produce: a kidney-shaped hopper (6-1/4" x 2-1/2") for bulky items like cabbage and celeriac, and a cylindrical hopper (2-1/4" diameter) for long, delicate vegetables. The vertical pusher applies consistent pressure for uniform cuts every time, while lever-activated auto restart keeps production moving without interruption.
The lateral ejection design saves counter space and positions output directly into gastronorm pans up to 7-7/8" tall. All food-contact parts are dishwasher safe for fast, efficient cleaning between uses. Sold without discs, the CL40 is compatible with a full range of 28 optional processing discs — including slicing, grating, julienne, dicing, and french fry kits — giving you the flexibility to customize your setup for exactly what your kitchen needs.
