The Metro MBQ Two-Door Banquet Cabinet is a heated holding cabinet purpose-built for hot food holding in banquet, catering, and high-volume plated-service environments. Standard Electric models use a bottom-mounted 1650-watt electric heating module with thermostatic control to hold up to 200 covered 11-3/4" plates at safe serving temperatures, giving caterers and banquet kitchens a reliable way to hold and transport plated meals between the kitchen and the dining room.

Each cabinet is fitted with two full-length solid doors with kick-latches for one-handed access, four removable nickel-chrome plated wire shelves (59" x 24" with 14" of clearance), an externally mounted thermometer, a dual-function count-up/count-down timer, and a combination whiteboard/clipboard for tracking menu items and hold times. An ergonomic three-point control handle and heavy-duty 6" polyurethane casters (two rigid, two swivel with brakes) make the cabinet easy to maneuver and lock in place during service.

Built from welded, reinforced stainless steel with 1" high-density fiberglass insulation, the MBQ Two-Door Banquet Cabinet is engineered to stand up to the daily wear of commercial banquet and catering operations. High-temperature Santoprene door gaskets seal in heat, while the high-temp ball-bearing blower motor circulates warm air evenly throughout the cabinet.

The Metro MBQ Two-Door Banquet Cabinet is NSF and UL/cULus certified and made in the USA, backed by Metro's standard one-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship.

Standard Electric two-door models are available in 120-, 150-, 180-, and 200-plate capacities, in both 120V/60Hz and 220V/50-60Hz configurations, and can be paired with Metro's plate carriers, swing-up handles, travel latches, caster upgrades, and mini-rack accessories to match specific banquet workflows.
