The Matfer Bourgeat Giant Exoglass® Spatula, 47-1/4" is a professional extra-large spatula designed to ease the mixing of preparations, reductions, stews, and braised items in commercial tilting kettles, stockpots, and large-capacity cookware. The Exoglass® scraper head effectively scrapes the sides and bottom of pots and bowls without scratching, minimizing product loss in high-volume batch cooking.
The Exoglass® paddle handle is fitted with a stop to maximize return on effort, a reinforced attachment to prevent breakage, and is heat resistant up to 428 degrees F. An oblong stainless steel tube handle prevents rolling along bowl rims, and an intermediate handle prevents direct contact with heat or cold during extended use.
