The International Cold Storage ICS1187 Heat Wire Frame is a 115-volt, 3-sided heating element designed for installation in walk-in cooler and freezer door frames. Measuring 396" in total element length, the heat wire runs along three sides of the door opening to prevent condensation, frost, and ice buildup around the door gasket and frame.
In high-humidity environments, cooler and freezer door frames accumulate condensation that can freeze, causing gaskets to stick, doors to bind, and creating slip hazards.
