InSinkErator SS-100 Disposer
The InSinkErator SS-100 Disposer is a small-capacity commercial food waste disposer equipped with a powerful 1 HP induction motor designed to handle well over 100 persons per meal. Built for continuous operation, this foodservice disposer is suited for locations such as restaurants and assisted living facilities. Its corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction and paint-free stainless steel and chrome-plated components provide a sanitary solution for commercial food waste processing. The 1 HP motor operates at 1,725 RPM and features a totally enclosed design for protection against outside moisture, while controlled power airflow helps cool the motor for efficiency and longer service life.
The InSinkErator SS-100 features a 3/4-inch rubber mounting above the grinding chamber that isolates sound and eliminates vibration, with chrome-plated covers enclosing the mounting for sanitation and appearance. Stationary and rotating shredding elements are constructed from cast nickel chrome alloy for long life and corrosion resistance and are designed for reverse-action grinding. Double-tapered Timken roller bearings provide a shock-absorbing cushion, while a triple-lip seal and secondary spring-loaded oil seal provide double protection against water damage and grease loss. The unit includes a mounting/bowl assembly, electrical control, syphon breaker, solenoid valve, and flow control valve.
