Federal Industries VFSS4860S Vision Series Flex 3-in-1 Multifunctional Merchandiser, 47.25"W Square-End Self-Service
The Federal Industries VFSS4860S is the wider (47.25"W, "48" width class), 60"-tall, square-end, floor-standing model in the Vision Series Flex 3-in-1 line, letting operators flip one case between refrigerated, heated, and ambient grab-and-go merchandising. Federal positions the line for schools/universities, corporate campuses, and medical facility foodservice, with rear loading for restocking without disrupting the customer side.
Refrigeration uses R290 refrigerant with electronic control maintaining 38-40°F, Clear Coil on-demand defrost, and a self-contained PTC condensate evaporator. In heated mode, the shelves and deck are independently controlled to an average of about 160°F; in ambient mode the case is a non-temperature-controlled, LED-lit display. Three adjustable stainless-steel shelf tiers are available flat or at a 10° tilt, with a standard 3500K LED top light and an energy-saving night curtain.
Construction is a stainless steel interior, shelves, and display deck, tempered glass square ends, a black powder-coated base frame, and moisture-resistant lower end panels, with adjustable leg levelers standard.
Certifications: UL and C-UL listed, UL Sanitation listed to NSF-7 Type I conditions, and stated as DOE 2017 compliant. Electrical (voltage/amperage) data was not published in the sources reviewed for this model.
Available configuration options include stainless steel or laminate exteriors, custom graphic wraps, clear or reflective sliding rear doors, polycarbonate or roll-down security covers, wire basket/shelf accessories, cart bumpers, and various caster/leg height combinations.
