The Cleveland TMKDL150T Twin Mixer Kettle, Direct Steam, Tilting is a 150-gallon commercial kettle designed for high-volume cooking and mixing applications. This console- and leg-mounted model uses direct steam heating and carries a 35 PSI steam jacket rating for 125- and 150-gallon models. The kettle and exterior surfaces are stainless steel, with a 316 stainless steel interior for the food-contact area. A 3-inch quick-opening butterfly valve, hot-and-cold water faucet, large pouring lip, and gallon markings stamped into the scraper shaft provide practical features for batch production and product handling. The factory-installed chrome-plated steam control kit and condensate valve with insulated handle complete the direct-steam system.
The TMKDL150T combines a 3 HP hydraulic-powered agitator, scraper, and bridge lift with infinitely variable scraper speeds from 0 to 40 RPM. Its scraper-to-agitator ratio adjusts from 1:1 to 8:1, allowing the agitator to rotate at up to eight times the scraper speed. Bayonet-mounted agitator and scraper components allow easy removal, while removable nylon blades scrape the entire jacketed surface. The enclosed 10-gauge stainless steel hydraulically operated mixer bridge includes a two-piece cover with safety screen. Safety controls prevent high-speed starts and stop mixing when the bridge is lifted. The tilt mechanism uses roller bearings with a case-hardened, self-locking worm and segment gear, while power tilt is standard on the 150-gallon model. Plumbing, electrical, and hydraulic components are enclosed within stainless steel consoles.
