Cleveland PEM243 Electric Heated Boiler Pressure Steamer
The Cleveland PEM243 Electric Heated Boiler Pressure Steamer is a commercial 3-compartment pressure steamer designed for high-volume foodservice operations that require efficient, controlled steam cooking. Its 15 PSI electric steam boiler supplies steam to the cooking compartments, which operate at 5 PSI. Each compartment is equipped with a 60-minute mechanical timer with audible signal, a heavy-duty free-floating cast aluminum door, and a mechanical safety interlock that prevents the door from being unlatched while the compartment is pressurized. Synchronous steam inlet and exhaust valves coordinate compartment steam operation, while thermostatic traps automatically vent the cooking compartments.
Designed for demanding commercial kitchen applications, the Cleveland PEM243 features a Type 430 stainless steel external enclosure and cooking compartments with removable slide racks for convenient cleaning. Each compartment accommodates eight 12" x 20" x 2 1/2" cafeteria pans or four 18" x 26" bun pans. The high-efficiency electric steam generator provides automatic water fill at startup and automatic water level control with low-water power cutoff. A high-limit pressure safety switch, safety valve, automatic boiler blowdown, and manual drain valve support reliable boiler operation. The modular cabinet base includes hinged doors, while 6" stainless steel adjustable legs provide leveling flexibility. The unit measures 36" W x 33.5" D and uses a 208-240 V, 60 Hz, 3-phase electrical connection.
