Cleveland PDL2 Direct Steam Pressure Steamer
The Cleveland PDL2 Direct Steam Pressure Steamer is a 2-compartment commercial pressure steamer designed for high-volume foodservice operations using a direct steam supply. Each cooking compartment operates at 5 PSI and includes an individual 60-minute mechanical timer with audible signal, pressure safety valve, heavy-duty free-floating door, and mechanical interlock that prevents the door from being unlatched while the compartment is pressurized. Synchronous steam inlet and exhaust/drain valves coordinate steam flow during operation, while a thermostatic trap automatically vents each cooking compartment. The unit includes a pressure reducing valve for 12 to 50 PSI incoming steam and a moisture separator for incoming steam.
Each compartment accommodates eight 12" × 20" × 2½" deep cafeteria pans or four 18" × 26" bun pans, providing substantial capacity for steaming vegetables, proteins, grains, and other prepared foods. Heavy-duty cast aluminum doors feature adjustable hinge pins and self-lubricating bushings, while replaceable door gaskets can be changed without tools. Removable compartment slide racks simplify cleaning and handling. A pressure gauge monitors compartment operating pressure, and 8 PSI safety valves provide pressure protection. Type 430 stainless steel is used for the external enclosure, tabletop, and cooking compartments, while 6-inch adjustable stainless steel legs with flanged feet provide support and leveling.
