Cleveland MKET12T Direct Steam Mixer Kettle, Tilting
The Cleveland MKET12T Direct Steam Mixer Kettle, Tilting is a 12-gallon, table-type electric mixer kettle designed for commercial food preparation requiring controlled heating and consistent mixing. Its 2/3 steam-jacketed construction uses a permanently filled jacket rated at 50 PSI (3.5 Bar), supporting high-speed cooking without requiring routine venting or refilling of the jacket. Solid-state temperature control provides adjustment from 145°F to 260°F with temperature control accuracy of ±1°F, while the solid-state low-water safety control helps protect the unit during operation. A rear-mounted combination pressure/vacuum gauge and pressure relief valve provide monitoring and pressure protection.
The MKET12T combines infinitely variable mixing speeds with a 3/4 HP DC timing belt drive for versatile food processing. The scraper operates from 0 to 70 RPM, while the agitator operates from 0 to 210 RPM. Bayonet-mounted agitator and scraper assemblies can be removed without tools, and removable nylon blades scrape the jacketed surface. Built-in safety features prevent high-speed starts and stop mixing when the mixer bridge is lifted. The kettle and exterior surfaces are stainless steel, with a reinforced rolled rim, large pouring lip, gallon markers on the scraper shaft, and an enclosed, balanced 10-gauge stainless steel mixer bridge. Standard electrical service is 208–240 volts, 60 Hz, three phase.
