The Cleveland KGT12T Gas Steam Kettle is a self-contained, tilting table type kettle designed for commercial kitchens that need efficient batch cooking with convenient product handling. Its gas-fired heating system operates on natural gas and uses an automatic electronic spark ignition system for dependable startup. The steam jacket is rated at 50 psi and includes a safety valve, while the permanently filled treated distilled water jacket eliminates the need for routine venting or refilling. A solid-state control system provides temperature management, low-water safety protection, and power control, with LED indicators for operating status and low-water conditions. The kettle operates from a 115-120V, 60 Hz, single-phase electrical connection for its controls.
Built for demanding foodservice applications, the Cleveland KGT12T features 304 stainless steel construction with a #4 finish on the kettle and exterior surfaces. Its self-locking marine-type tilting mechanism provides controlled pouring and helps prevent accidental spills, while the balanced design makes tilting easier during food transfer. A large pouring lip and heavy-duty rolled rim support practical day-to-day use. The kettle provides an operating temperature range of 145°F to 260°F (63°C to 127°C), with temperature control designed for consistent cooking and simmering. A recessed pressure/vacuum gauge, supplied gas pressure regulator, and 115V cord and plug are included.
