The Cleveland KGL80T Gas Steam Kettle is a commercial tilting kettle designed for high-volume cooking applications that require controlled, consistent heat. This 80-gallon, 2/3 steam-jacketed kettle features a power burner heating system with an insulated heat exchanger and a 50 psi steam jacket rating. The gas-fired design uses natural gas as standard and provides efficient heat transfer for demanding batch cooking. Its Type 304 stainless steel construction with a #4 finish on the kettle and supports provides a durable commercial cooking surface. The permanently filled steam jacket uses treated, distilled water, eliminating the need for routine venting or refilling.
The Cleveland KGL80T provides precise temperature management through solid-state controls and infinite variable temperature control, with less than 1°C temperature variance for consistent cooking and simmering. LED indicators display the heat cycle and low-water warning, while the automatic ignition system simplifies operation. The tilting mechanism uses roller bearings with a case-hardened, self-locking worm and segment gear for controlled product transfer. Support legs include level-adjustable feet and are flanged for floor bolting. A front-mounted combination pressure/vacuum gauge provides jacket pressure monitoring, while the standard 115V, 60 Hz, single-phase electrical configuration is supplied with a cord and plug. Optional accessories include a 3-inch tangent draw-off valve, 316 stainless steel liner, automatic water meter, cooking baskets, faucet options, propane operation, and kettle cleaning accessories.
