The Cleveland KGL25T Gas Steam Kettle, Tilting is a commercial foodservice kettle designed for efficient batch cooking with controlled gas-fired heating. This 2/3 steam jacketed kettle features Type 304 stainless steel construction with a #4 finish on the kettle and supports for a durable, cleanable cooking surface. The 50 psi steam jacket is permanently filled with treated, distilled water, eliminating the need for routine venting or refilling. A high-efficiency power burner heating system works with an insulated heat exchanger to provide fast heat-up and recovery. The kettle is configured for natural gas operation and includes support legs with level-adjustable feet and flanges for floor bolting.
For precise cooking applications, the KGL25T uses solid-state controls for temperature and low-water safety within a plug-in control module. Its temperature control provides less than 1°C variance, supporting consistent cooking and simmering performance. LED indicators display the heat cycle and low-water warning, while the automatic ignition system simplifies burner operation. The tilting mechanism incorporates roller bearings and a case-hardened, self-locking worm and segment gear for controlled product handling. A front-mounted combination pressure/vacuum gauge provides steam jacket monitoring, and the standard electrical configuration is 115 volts, 60 Hz, single-phase with a cord and plug.
