The Cleveland KET20T Electric Steam Kettle is a table-type, self-contained tilting kettle designed for commercial foodservice operations that require efficient steam-jacketed cooking in a compact format. Its 2/3 steam-jacketed construction uses a Type 304 stainless steel kettle and supports, with a #4 finish on the kettle and exterior surfaces for easier cleaning. The permanently filled steam jacket is rated at 50 psi (3.5 Bar), eliminating the need for routine venting or refilling. A large pouring lip helps facilitate transfer of soups, sauces, and other prepared foods, while the reinforced rolled rim is designed to protect the kettle edge during regular use.
The KET20T features splash-proof solid-state temperature and safety controls with less than ±1°C variance and an operating range of 145°F to 260°F. The control panel includes an adjustable temperature dial, power switch, and LED indicators for the heat cycle and low-water condition. Welded-in heating elements and solid-state water-level control support the integrated heating system, while the splash-proof element cover uses a double-gasket seal. Its balanced manual tilting design incorporates a self-locking marine-type mechanism to help prevent accidental spills during pouring. The kettle includes a 50 psi safety valve, rear-mounted pressure gauge, and pressure relief valve for accessible pressure monitoring.
