The Cleveland KEL60T Electric Steam Kettle is a high-capacity, self-contained tilting kettle designed for commercial foodservice operations that require controlled steam-jacketed cooking. This quad-leg mounted kettle features a Type 304 stainless steel kettle and supports, along with a durable #4 stainless steel finish for easier cleaning of the kettle and exterior surfaces. The 2/3 steam-jacketed design provides an integrated cooking system, while the permanently filled steam jacket eliminates the need for routine venting or refilling. A large pouring lip helps facilitate transfer of soups, sauces, prepared foods, and other high-volume products.
The KEL60T features a 50 psi steam jacket rating and a 50 psi safety valve, with a rear-mounted pressure gauge and pressure relief valve for accessible monitoring. Its splash-proof solid-state temperature and safety control system provides temperature control with a stated variance of less than ±1°C, with an operating range of 145°F to 260°F. LED indicators provide visibility for the heat cycle and low-water condition. The kettle also incorporates welded-in heating elements, solid-state water-level control, and a splash-proof element cover with a double-gasket seal. A roller-bearing tilt mechanism with a self-locking worm and segment gear supports controlled tilting for product transfer.
