This electric kettle features a full steam jacket with a 50 psi steam jacket rating and a permanently filled jacket, eliminating the need for routine venting or refilling. A combination pressure/vacuum jacket gauge provides at-a-glance monitoring, while the 50 psi safety valve supports safe jacket operation. The kettle and supports are constructed of Type 316 stainless steel for a durable, cleanable cooking system suited to demanding commercial kitchens.
Accurate solid-state temperature control provides less than ±1°C variance, with an operating range of 145°F to 260°F (63°C to 127°C) for applications ranging from controlled heating to simmering. The splash-proof control system includes an adjustable temperature dial, power switch, heat-cycle LED, and low-water LED. A solid-state water-level control eliminates the need for a sight-glass gauge, while welded-in heating elements and a splash-proof element cover with a double gasket help protect the heating system.
