This quad-leg mounted kettle features a 2/3 steam-jacketed construction with a Type 304 stainless steel kettle and supports for durability and straightforward cleaning. The permanently filled steam jacket is rated at 50 psi (3.5 bar), supporting higher cooking temperatures without routine venting or refilling. A combination pressure/vacuum jacket gauge provides convenient monitoring of jacket conditions during operation.
Designed for practical commercial kitchen performance, the KEL40T features splash-proof solid-state temperature and safety controls with less than ±1°C temperature variance for consistent cooking results. The plug-in control module includes LED indicators for convenient operation and monitoring. A solid-state water level control eliminates the need for a breakable sight glass, while the rear-mounted pressure gauge and pressure relief valve provide accessible pressure monitoring. The kettle includes welded-in heating elements and a splash-proof element cover with a double gasket seal. Its large pouring lip accommodates high-capacity and chunky products, while the reinforced rolled rim helps protect the kettle edge. Quad-leg supports with level-adjustable feet allow floor bolting, and the roller-bearing tilt mechanism with a self-locking worm and segment gear provides controlled tilting for efficient product transfer.
