Cleveland KDL40T Direct Steam Kettle, Quad Leg Tilting
The Cleveland KDL40T Direct Steam Kettle is designed for commercial foodservice operations that require efficient batch cooking and controlled product transfer. This quad-leg mounted, tilting kettle features a 2/3 steam jacketed design and connects directly to a steam source supplying 10 to 45 psi steam. The hand- or power-tilting configuration allows operators to transfer prepared foods through the kettle’s high-capacity pouring lip, which is designed to accommodate chunky products. A steam control valve mounted on the console provides convenient access to steam control during operation.
Constructed from Type 304 stainless steel, the Cleveland KDL40T has a #4 finish on the kettle and support legs for a durable commercial foodservice installation. Its kettle legs measure 1 5/8 inches in outside diameter and feature three-level adjustable feet with three-bolt flanges for floor bolting. The tilting mechanism uses a permanently lubricated, self-locking worm drive in a space-saving design to support controlled kettle positioning during use. A heavy reinforced rolled rim provides a robust edge around the kettle, while the condensate drain valve features an insulated handle. The 50 psi steam jacket rating and 50 psi chrome-plated safety valve support the kettle's steam-heating system. This Cleveland direct steam kettle is suited for high-volume preparation of soups, sauces, gravies, stews, and other batch-cooked foods.
