Cleveland KDL200 Direct Steam Kettle
The Cleveland KDL200 Direct Steam Kettle is designed for commercial foodservice operations that need dependable steam-jacketed cooking and durable stainless steel construction. Built with Type 304 stainless steel and a #4 finish on the kettle and supports, it features a 50 PSI steam jacket rating and a 50 PSI chrome-plated safety valve. The direct steam design connects to an external steam source supplying 5 to 45 PSI, providing controlled heating for preparing soups, sauces, stocks, gravies, and other batch-cooked foods. A 2-inch tangent draw-off valve with drain strainer allows convenient product dispensing and draining.
The KDL200 includes a spring-assisted, domed, hinged one-piece rotatable cover for practical access during food preparation. Its heavy reinforced rolled rim adds durability, while the insulated-handle condensate drain valve supports routine operation. A steam control inlet valve provides connection to the facility steam supply, and a faucet mounting bracket is included. Support configurations are available as specified: tri-leg models feature 1 5/8-inch O.D. Type 304 stainless steel tubular supports with level-adjustable flanged feet for floor bolting, while pedestal models use Type 304 stainless steel construction with a 3/4-inch thick floor plate, leveling adjustment for sloping floors, and a stainless steel collar for sealing.
