Cleveland 24CEM24 Electric Pressureless Convection Steamer
The Cleveland 24CEM24 Classic Series Convection Steamer is a two-compartment pressureless steamer with an electric 15 PSI steam generator, designed for commercial foodservice cooking. Its modular boiler base provides automatic water fill at startup, automatic generator drain at shutdown, and a Water Jet spray rinse cycle to help keep the drain clear. Each compartment accommodates up to six 12" x 20" x 2 1/2" deep cafeteria pans and uses forced convection steam for pressureless cooking, allowing the doors to be opened while cooking continues. The exclusive brass Steam Jet distribution system produces high-velocity convection steam without fans, while coved corners promote even heat distribution and simplify cleaning.
Built for durability and serviceability, the Cleveland 24CEM24 features 14-gauge stainless steel construction for the compartment doors and steam cooking cavities. Each compartment includes a 60-minute mechanical timer, bypass switch for constant steaming, and cold-water condenser. The two-piece free-floating compartment doors feature reversible gaskets and stainless steel slam/latch mechanisms. Solid-state controls manage water level and safety functions, with automatic water level control and low-water power cutoff protection. The steam generator includes a high-limit pressure safety switch, 15 PSI safety valve, and pressure gauge. Instant Steam Standby Mode maintains generator temperature for immediate cooking startup. Controls are serviceable from the front through a pullout service drawer. Standard electrical requirements are 208 or 240 volts, 60 Hz, three phase.
