The Cleveland KGL60SH Gas Steam Kettle Short Series is a stationary, gas-fired kettle designed for commercial foodservice operations that require efficient batch cooking with a lower 37.5-inch rim height. This 60-gallon kettle features a full steam jacket with a 50 psi rating and a high-efficiency Power Burner Heating System for fast heat-up and recovery. The insulated heat exchanger and permanently filled steam jacket support consistent cooking performance without requiring routine venting or refilling. Natural gas operation and automatic ignition provide a practical heating system for preparing large-volume soups, sauces, stocks, gravies, and other kettle-cooked foods.
The KGL60SH provides precise, consistent temperature control with an infinite variable temperature control and solid-state controls for temperature and low-water safety. LED indicators identify the heat cycle and low-water warning, while a front-mounted combination pressure/vacuum gauge allows convenient monitoring of the steam jacket. Type 304 stainless steel construction with a #4 finish provides a durable commercial cooking surface and supports. The spring-assisted, hinged, rotatable domed stainless steel cover facilitates access to the kettle, while the 2-inch tangent draw-off valve with drain strainer provides a convenient outlet for dispensing prepared product. Standard electrical service is 115 volts, 60 Hz, single-phase, supplied with a cord and plug.
