The Cleveland KET12T Electric Steam Kettle, Tilting is a self-contained table-type electric kettle designed for commercial foodservice cooking applications requiring efficient, high-speed cooking in a compact format. Its 2/3 steam-jacketed design uses a permanently filled, treated-water steam jacket rated at 50 PSI (3.5 Bar), eliminating the need for routine venting or refilling. The kettle and supports are constructed from Type 304 stainless steel with an #4 finish, providing a durable cooking vessel and easy-to-clean exterior. A large pouring lip accommodates high-capacity and chunky products, while the reinforced rolled rim helps protect the kettle edge during use.
The KET12T features splash-proof solid-state temperature and safety controls with less than ±1°C variance for precise cooking and simmering. Its operating temperature range is 145°F to 260°F (63°C to 127°C), with an adjustable temperature dial and LED indicators for the heat cycle and low-water condition. Solid-state water level control eliminates the need for a sight-glass gauge, while the 50 PSI safety valve and rear-mounted pressure gauge support steam-jacket monitoring. The balanced manual tilting design incorporates a self-locking Marine Lock mechanism to help prevent accidental spills during pouring. This electric steam kettle operates on 208–240 volts, 60 Hz, 3 phase, 3 wire, with KET-12 models field rewirable to single phase.
