Cleveland 22CGT6.1 SteamChef 6 Convection Steamer
The Cleveland 22CGT6.1 SteamChef 6 Convection Steamer is a high-speed, boilerless gas convection steamer designed for commercial foodservice operations that require substantial steam cooking capacity. This one-compartment unit features an Energy Star-approved design, an open-style 1.5-gallon water reservoir, and a high-efficiency gas boilerless combustion system. Fan-forced convection steam circulates through the cooking compartment, while the patented KleanShield design collects and removes condensate waste to help maintain a clean cooking environment, reduce foaming, and prevent contamination of the reservoir water. The steamer accommodates up to six 12" x 20" x 2 1/2" deep cafeteria pans.
Automatic water level controls use low- and high-water probes to maintain water levels during operation, while a safety overflow standpipe and high-temperature safety shut-off provide additional operating controls. The unit provides a 193°F preheat and standby temperature, and steam and fan operation shuts off when the compartment door is opened. Its automatic drain control uses a 1/2" ball valve with micro switch circuitry, a cold water condenser, and a 3-minute rinse feature. The durable 14-gauge stainless steel compartment door includes a free-floating inner door and reversible gasket. Left-hand door hinging places the controls on the right, while heavy-duty 4" adjustable skid-resistant legs support installation. The steamer measures 21 5/8" W x 32.25" D x 34 1/8" H and weighs 355 lb.
