The Cleveland 22CET6.1 SteamChef 6 Convection Steamer is a high-speed, boilerless electric convection steamer designed for commercial foodservice applications requiring efficient steam cooking and substantial pan capacity. This one-compartment steamer features 13.5 kW electric heating elements housed in aluminum blocks for rapid heat transfer, along with an open-style 1.5-gallon water reservoir positioned beneath the cooking compartment for accessible maintenance. Fan-forced convection steam circulates throughout the cavity, while the KleanShield design collects and removes condensate waste to help maintain a clean cooking environment. The unit accommodates up to six 12" x 20" x 2 1/2" deep cafeteria pans.
SureCook compartment controls provide on-demand power control, an energy-saving standby feature, and a 60-minute electro-mechanical timer with load-compensating operation. Automatic water level controls use low- and high-water probes to maintain water levels during cooking, while a 193°F preheat and standby temperature supports ready-to-cook operation. The automatic drain uses a 1/2" ball valve with micro switch circuitry, cold water condenser, and 3-minute rinse feature. A durable 14-gauge stainless steel compartment door includes a reversible gasket and free-floating inner door. The steamer has left-hand door hinging with controls on the right and stands on heavy-duty 4" adjustable skid-resistant legs. This Energy Star-approved model measures 21 5/8" W x 34 7/8" D x 30.75" H and weighs 335 lb.
