Cleveland 22CET3.1 Boilerless Convection Steamer
The Cleveland 22CET3.1 SteamChef 3 Boilerless Convection Steamer is a high-speed electric steamer designed for commercial foodservice operations requiring efficient, consistent steam cooking without a conventional boiler. This one-compartment unit uses 9 kW electric heating elements housed in aluminum blocks for rapid heat transfer, while its open-style 1.5-gallon water reservoir provides accessible maintenance. Fan-forced convection steam circulates throughout the cooking compartment, and the patented KleanShield design collects and removes condensate waste to help keep the cavity clean and reduce impurities in the reservoir water. The steamer accommodates up to six 12" x 20" x 2 1/2" deep cafeteria pans.
The 22CET3.1 features SureCook compartment controls with on-demand power control, an energy-saving standby feature, and a 60-minute electro-mechanical timer with load-compensating operation. Automatic water level controls maintain the cooking water level during operation, while a 193°F preheat and standby temperature supports ready-to-cook operation. The automatic drain control uses a 1/2" ball valve with micro switch circuitry, cold water condenser, and 3-minute rinse feature. A durable 14-gauge stainless steel compartment door features a reversible gasket and self-adjusting two-piece design. Heavy-duty 4" adjustable skid-resistant legs provide a stable installation. This Energy Star-approved model measures 21 5/8" W x 22.5" D x 31 3/16" H.
