The Caster Depot C015.BE9 is a rigid (fixed-direction) plate-mount caster with a 4" diameter x 1.25" wide wheel. Unlike swivel casters, rigid casters roll in a fixed direction, providing directional stability for equipment that should roll in a straight line.
Rigid casters are typically mounted on two corners of an equipment base while swivel casters are used on the other two, creating a setup that rolls straight but can still be maneuvered with a simple lift-and-pivot.
