  • do not use abrasives, metal pot scrubbers, or abrasive scouring pads when removing stains. A soft plastic pad or polyester brush will yield the best results without dulling the lustrous finish
  • ask your chemical salesman for the proper solution formulated for use with melamine
  • do not use chlorine or chlorine-based products when attempting to remove stains
  • for best results, use a high-alkaline base solution for regular dishwashing
  • if unusual staining occurs, before placing trays in dishwasher, pre-soak melamine in a sodium perborate base solution such as Dip-It by Ecolab, Inc. or DeClare Plus by Diversey/Lever
