The Araven 03044 8.78 Qt Full Size Polypropylene Square Container is a GN 1/1 airtight container with a 2 1/2-inch (65 mm) height and 8.3 L (8.78 qt) capacity. Designed with Araven’s new lid design, this food storage container features a double airtight lip that improves the seal to help preserve food better and for longer. The lid also incorporates a channel that allows part of the air inside the container to be expelled, reducing food oxidation and potentially prolonging the useful life of food by up to 25%, based on a study conducted by the Plant Origin Foods Research Group of the University of Zaragoza. A special tab on the lid provides easy opening.
This Araven GastroNorm airtight container features seven colorclips to help manage food in the kitchen according to criteria such as food type, day of the week, or work area. The container is made of polypropylene, providing a balance of rigidity and tenacity along with robustness, hygiene, and durability. A measuring strip and measuring indicator assist with monitoring container contents. The polypropylene has a maximum temperature of +203°F and is microwave safe. This 8.78 qt food storage container is also dishwasher safe and NSF certified, and it is included in the NSF product lists.
