Undercounter Dishwashers

A dishwasher is a mechanical device that is used for cleaning both dishes and eating-utensils. Dishwashers can be found in many commercial restaurants and private homes. Unlike manual dishwashing that relies largely on physical effort through scrubbing to remove soiling a mechanical dishwasher cleans away food by spraying hot water at the dishes. Setting with lower temperatures can be used for delicate items. A mix of water and dish detergent is circulated by a pump. Water is pumped to one or more rotating spray arms, which blast the dishes with the mixture for cleaning. Once the wash is finished, and used water is drained, more hot water is then pumped in and a rinse cycle begins. After the rinse cycle has finished and the water is drained, a heating element, usually in the bottom of the tub heats the air to dry the dishes. Sometimes a rinse aid can be used to eliminate water spots, producing absolutely streak-free dishes.
